Here is a Halloween gourd guy that I made .
He's in my Etsy shop now .

His head and arms and legs are made from polymer clay and they move .... I used wire . and old buttons .

drawing on old book pages

There's something about drawing on an old book page . The paper feels good . It takes pen and ink well .
and then there is the magic of the words ...

This is written at the top of page 322 :

"...completely to touch her at all . In the end nothing properly matched , except a certain sense of aloneness , which was only an ironic consequence .
She was left as she had been left then , without Phillip or the queenly Astrid of the Belgians either ,

It doesn't seem to matter much that I don't know the whole story of this book .... I just love certain phrases .

Cat Girl dolls

I'm making cat girl dolls .
These are 15 inch dolls with movable arms and legs .
hand painted faces [ I used ink, acrylics and Inktense pencils ]

I THINK I will make paint these on mini canvases too
and greeting cards
and maybe book marks too

sculpted Lady

Yes I made her [ a few years ago ] .... I took an old bottle , covered it with polymer clay , sculpted her face , embedded sea shells , jewelry , buttons and beads
and then painted it and antiqued it

She's in the photo below .
