vintage Tuesday

I can't believe it's Tuesday again and I am trying to keep it vintage Tuesday !..... [ see Ronnie ! ... I can do it !!!!!! ]

I found this thread holder thing years ago ... bought it for a QUARTER .

but that's all I know about it [besides I love it ]

any idea how old this is ?

Sunday was beautiful so I took some of my heads outside ....

and read the story below about the angel head [ or cherub ]

Did you ever drive down a road and you see something white [ in the gutter ] and you think " OH NO .... a dead cat or dead rabbit ! "

and it turns out to be a plastic bag !

One day a few years ago this happened to me and after I passed the 'white thing " ... I thought " HEY that was an ANGEL head !!!! "

so

I turned around on this dangerous road > and I got the head .

Don't worry ... I went and asked if it belonged to the cemetery that was nearby . They said no and that I could keep the head

so .... it's not always a plastic bag on the side of the road !!! keep looking !

Today was so beautiful ... I took the baby heads outside

come back to see them on vintage Tuesday !

one of those 3 a.m. drawings

sometimes I just don't want to go to sleep ....

so ... I say to myself , " Just one more drawing and you must go to bed ! "

I am almost vintage ....

I am going through my art , and I found this tea tray that I painted years ago .

I used to have my work in many gift shops . SO many of the shops have closed .

it makes me sad that they closed .

so this is my vintage Tuesday item

I'm SO confused

I have all these drawings.... in drawers, in suitcases , in boxes under the bed , in the kitchen , in piles ..... everywhere .

and I can't decide sometimes

Should I make this one into a wood cut out for the wall ?

should I sell it as a print ?

as a greeting card ?

as a pillow ?

I overwhelm myself

My head hurts

over thirty years of drawings ....everywhere

my poor husband .

what should I do ?

This little baby head is on my window shelf ,

and while I wash dishes .... she reminds me to praise the Lord and be grateful for His grace and mercy

I bought two more baby heads from Regina and they should be here this week .... I am SO excited ... I LOVE baby doll heads !

I am also grateful for the WONDERFUL people I have met through this blog ..... today Dixie made my new banner . She sent it to me with my name there ...SO ..now

Lady Lamp , vintage Tuesday

A few years ago I bought this lady lamp at Stratford Antique Center .

Does anyone know anything about this lamp ?

She is dressed in this weird hard bubbly plastic .
