Duck and Clown pillow , by Sandy Mastroni

when I opened my shop on Etsy ... I was making lots of pillows , then I just kept making dolls { which I love to do } ..... but I looked back on my earlier work and realized I miss drawing !..... so these past few days I worked on this clown duck pillow . I think it looks cute next to the dolls , do you think so too ? ........ There is something so relaxing about stitching , sort of the same relaxation when working on a jig saw puzzle .  SO that's what I'm up to ..... thinking about drawing on pillows !!!
I have not listed any yet , but I hope to soon ...... that's the plan ..... soon I will have pillows in my shop again . Tell me please if you like little pillows , this one measures 9 inches x 9 inches .

you can move the antenna ... { is that right ? } ...... hand painted , stuffed , I put a coat of poly on , sanded and then an antique medium is rubbed on and then rubbed off .

Lots of hand stitching on this little rabbit girl
The fabric is tea stained ticking , her head ,ears , arms and nose were made separately , and then hand stitched into the body
I made a fabric flower for her too
I painted her head with thin acrylics, ink and Inktense , then a coat of poly , then an antique medium is rubbed on and then rubbed off
The ears have wire inside so you can pose them

This was my work table a year ago { maybe two } ....... OH .... I still love old lace and pearls , I still love " hand stitching " .  I think I will do more ..... maybe make some Hearts for my etsy shop
