I actually have to have little 'talks' with myself . Take a shower and THEN you can draw . Go grocery shopping and THEN you can paint a pillow.
It's just so much fun . [ pillows I mean ]
This is today's pillow . This lady is in the Beverly Kaye gallery [ with more detail ]. I just drew the lady for this pillow .
I don't have a title . I love hearing your suggestions . It sure helped last time I asked . If something pops into your mind ........................ please tell me !

Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils ... true love

Both of these illustrations were done with ink and Inktense on fabric. The first one here is Sweet Lorraine . She's in my etsy shop now as a print .
I didn't make her into a pillow .
On Sunday nights there is a radio show out of Fordham University on Long Island .
It's called the Big Broadcast and they play songs from the twenties and thirties .
Rudy Vallee sang Sweet Loraine , and Nat King Cole. I wrote the lyrics on the back of the print and if you want you can read them in my Etsy shop .
The second photo is of the pillow I made today .
This is Bunnie with her bunny [ sold ] ,
I drew this with ink on a denim fabric .
Did I ever tell you I love Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

another sweater girl pillow for my Etsy shop. [sold]

Saturday !
made another girl pillow using ink and Inktense pencils .
I used willow and mustard ,
violet and sea blue.
I don't use any kind of final coat because the colors are heat set with my iron .
I will be putting this in my shop tonight
right now I have to go
do that dinner thing that we have to do .

My cat pillows are selling well on Etsy
so I made this one today
I just put this in my Etsy shop

I will tell you how I work with Inktense on fabric .
first I drew the cat angel with ink ,
then I colored on [ lightly ] sky blue Inktense . Then use a little water to even it out .
Then Indigo , water, then violet , then some willow , then some bark .
always using a little water between all the different colors . That's it !

Under the bed

Do you remember how I wrote that I have drawings EVERYWHERE ...
even under the bed .
You thought I was kidding ,
but I really found this today ,
under the bed in a an old suitcase.

uh ..... 33 years ago
but I count my life in pounds
but I won't tell you how many pounds ago this was .
SO .... I thought this old drawing was sort of cool ....
so I did another [second drawing ] with Inktense pencils
I sort of like it .
Do you like it as 'unfinished' ???
I'll still mess around with this I think.
I wonder what else is under the bed .
