vintage Tuesday rabbit

so ... way back in 1980 or there about , I found this rabbit doll at the 'Do Drop In' antique shop in Westport , Ct.
I think I paid $ 5.00
There's a tag on it that says .....
Schmid Bros.
Boston Mass.

I love him
He is posable.
And then [ way back then ] ....I drew him ...
on illustration board with graphite and colored pencil [ no Inktense then ]

I just love this rabbit .... isn't he great !
click to enlarge. I think I will do some new drawings of him ....maybe put them on Etsy
I don't know , what do ya think ?

That is a great rabbit. And you draw wonderfully.

My own experiments with inktense pencils have been less than stellar at this point. They are not permanent when used on top of a painted surface. When used on paper they are permanent after water is put on them. My next experiment is cloth. :-)

That's a beautiful drawing. Love the shadow you cast for him.
Your rabbit reminds me of Ana Lee dolls. Not sure of the spelling. My mom collected them.
This little guy is very cute.
You have a great Tuesday, Sandy!

This is what I think, I think that you drew him even better than he actually was!
Yes, I'd love to see more drawings of him, I especially like when you let your "dark" side out! That air of mystery and how you make us wonder what the story is behind the drawing/painting. So... Yes, please and Thank you.

So cute! Mom can't draw to save her life. She can do important things though, like fill our food bowls....

I agree with OldCat, Bunny looks much more handsome in your portrait. But that happens some times....look at portraits of famous people and take a look in person! what are you up to?? you have been very quiet ....
