Hi ..... Today I made a pretty pillow [ yes ? ] .......... I used an old vintage embroidered bureau scarf and then I added pearls and buttons .... all around the edges I twisted and knotted bits of fabric yesterday .... I was so depressed ....because I made an awful pillow ....NOT a magic day, yesterday

Sandy I know how you feel...I have a box of mistakes in my closet. It looks like you got back up on the horse though because the new pillow is beautiful. :0)

I just threw out a bag of ugly.
I decided it wasn't worth any more time or effort to try to make it pretty.
so, back to square 1
(I could tell you how many mistakes Edison made before inventing the lightbulb but then you'd want to slap me.)
I have a shoe box full of ugly beads. We've all been there and it is frustrating. It makes you think that you can't do anything, that you've lost your talent. We know, that when we step away and look at the successes we have, that we've "still got it". Don't be blue, you scored a home run with this pillow. It's lovely.
