OH GOD THIS IS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! The dogs expression is priceless and the rabbit seems a bit irritated that Fido is so happy. :) I really seem to be liking Herbert for a name lately... I'm not sure what is up with that but I'd call this " Happy Fido and Herbert the irritated hare".
I absolutely love how offended the rabbit seems to be of the dog's effusiveness!!! Speaks of life lessons in there, somewhere, if you know how to look. :)

hi sandy...you visited my blog a few weeks ago and i'm just now making it here. you're work is beautiful and so full of life. in this dog and rabbit painting i see the whole glass 1/2 full-glass 1/2 empty thing going on. the term oblivious also comes to mind...good luck with the name!
