When I make the FIRST doll , a new one , a new design ..... I don't look at the clock because it's MAGIC time . THEN when I make another one .... I realize .... oh my gosh , this is taking a LONG time to finish ! Does this happen to you ?
anyway > here is my second mermaid doll with hand stitched bits of lace and fabric
I had to go up a little on the price .
but she is now in my shop

your newest follower here :) your work is fabulous!
That time thing sure is slippery-I know what you mean about how long it really takes to create something. Who knows? It doesn't come with directions and when you get so involved in it, it's hard to judge. Time passes quickly, or so you think, when you're having fun. (PS Love the mermaid)
I know exactly how this feels. One time I lost my mind and agreed to make several of one thing for a client. I'm telling you, at the end, it was torture! lol! I love your mermaid, with that little bit of blue. :) xox Pam
Beautiful. When you love what you do- time does not matter:)
i know those growing pains of creating something new...and having it take waaay too much time!! that happens to me when i sew. i suck at it so bad and it takes me super long to just thread the machine....lol. your dolls were well worth the effort!!! they are scrumptious and mysterious and beautiful and creative. love them!!!! sue
Love your dolls!
The mermaid I purchased was a bargain, then! I love her...she has a place of honor in my studio. Your work is awesome!
If we sold our work for the amount of time we put into it, we would all be millionaires. Your mermaid is so beautiful. Love her eyes. Take care.
I love all your comments ... thank you
I think Susan sums it up perfectly...... You're right Susan
