There's nine faces in it .

some faces are thoughtful , some melancholy , some are happy

I cried and cried , out of sadness and out of gratefulness

It was about how Canada helped us after September 11 th .

The stories were amazing

I always cry when I see anything about September 11 th .

I have put some new book page illustrations in my shop .

I'm in a gallery , Cavalier Galleries which is on Nantucket and I have to do some big paintings for them .

so ... right now I'm thinking and planning bigger beach themed paintings for this fantastic gallery .

My favorite one [ in the photo ] is the mom and her weird little kid .

This will help me stay home and shop in my own house [ if you know what I mean ] .... and it will make me dust some of the treasures in my house

I need you to remind me to do this .... ha ha ..... I never know what day it is .

I went to my favorite place today ...

Stratford Antiques .

a wonderful antique warehouse with rows and rows of STUFF

I found a few old books . One is French , so when I got home , I drew this girl on one of the pages

I also bought a light up tree top angel for $8.00

Maybe I should take photos of all the amazing things I bought at Stratford Antique Center.

Tell Me your Secrets , illustration on wood cut out

It's actually on MDF board , masonite board but I write wood because it's sort of wood [ only better ] and so many people don't know what MDF board is

But I love it .

This is cut out on my scroll saw

It's a print on board . I painted the original with acrylics and Inktense pencils.

I put her in my shop

'Carmelina ' just wrote to tell me the meaning of MDF ..... it's in the comments

it means medium density fiberboard
