American Pie

Hi ..... my painting " American Pie " was accepted into The Greenwich Workshop Gallery's small works contest
I am SO SO happy

paper doll 13 inches tall

Tonight after I finished my work
I decided to make a paper doll.

I painted a pattern on wet watercolor paper,
and then I printed the pattern onto a book page .
made a dress.
The funny thing about the dress ...
When I was done I realized it reminded me of the dresses my mother sewed .
she made us mother / daughter dresses
that was probably in 1960.

I wonder if you remember that ?

so ... It's 1 a.m. and I am done for the day.
