Little clay heads , sandy mastroni , Halloween

I made all of these from air dry clay ,
I like the Sculpey clay the best ...... very nice to work with and does NOT crack
so ....... The larger ones measure about 2 inches tall { not including the wire hanger }
and the base on the larger ones is 1 1/2 inches
I put a gloss glaze on each one .... that makes them look like they came out of a kiln
and it makes the color more vibrant , also of course for protection
these are fun to make , hard to photograph
OH ..... and some of them have a crackle finish ..... I had to try it  ! ,,,, and it worked out well
again > not such great photos , the crackle looks better in person too
OH .... sometimes taking photos can be frustrating

Studio cat Isabelle , Sandy Mastroni

I was sitting on the floor going through a box of old drawings .... she was watching me from a tall bureau { a bureau splattered with paint ! } ..... Isabelle loves being in my studio where there are papers for her to rip up and stuffed dolls to play with . Usually I can't get to my camera , but this time she stayed there and I actually got a photo of her ,  It's difficult to get a photo of Isabelle or Ernie , they're still little and active . always in motion or fast asleep .

She is about 5 months old , she is almost perfect ......
but ,,,,, it's so hard to get to work !!! ...... She likes my dolls , she likes the bags and papers and stuffing and the little legs
but it's all wonderful ....... my perfect little friend in my studio
