Psalm 91

we are okay here
the hurricane did damage to my town ... power outages , trees down
but Praise God ...... we had no damage here..........
my little door nook survived the storm too .

We live within the shadow of the Almighty , sheltered by the God who is above all gods.
He alone is my refuge
my place of safety
he is my God
and I am trusting him
He orders his angels to protect you wherever you go
The Lord says > """Because he loves me , I will rescue him
when he calls on me I will answer .
I will be with him in trouble and rescue him and honor him """

Those lines above are part of Psalm 91

For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son so that anyone who believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life
{ John 3:16 }

read your Bible ..... trust in God ....  !!!!!

Thank you for praying .... let's continue to pray for all those that are suffering because of the storm

my new little door nook

This morning I was sitting in my JUST built little door nook , praising and thanking God , watching so many birds ,,,, chickadee , titmouse, finch , even a wood pecker .
I've always wanted a porch or a little cozy sitting area .... a place to read, pray , watch the birds , listen to the rain .
Here I am !!!!!  I can't believe it .......

If you go to my Pinterest ""page ""..... [ look under my cozy home section ] ....you can see the door nook that was the inspiration for MY door nook .

We had a small area by my back door leveled and laid with brick , then I found old doors , some solid , some with windows . My door nook has two doors above as a roof . Our carpenter friend  { Rich } made it all very sturdy and I think it will last for many many years . Rich did a great job .... it was so much fun for me to watch him build this . { Thank you Rich }
and thank you husband Michael and thank you Lord !
This morning I hung bittersweet vines all over . This is wonderful ! I'm so happy
Do you remember the Walt Disney book " Cinderella " ? There is a picture in that book of birds putting ribbons in Cinderella's hair . I feel like these birds will put ribbons in MY hair , they aren't afraid ... they are so close to me .
It was hard to take photos .... trying to show my view as I sit inside the nook . Jerry loves it .

See the walk way ?  the stone slabs ?  I don't know what to put in between the slabs .
well .........
I spent the whole day outside ..... I'd better get back to work .... make more dolls !

Etsy angel art doll ......{ just sold ! }

Today I made a Christmas angel art doll ....... I'll still be making Halloween stuff but I wanted to make an angel today
this angel is in my shop
wow ..... she just sold ......... I'll make more angel dolls > I'm so happy , now I can make more !

I was thinking today how Juliette [ my cat ] was more like a rabbit than a cat . She didn't go up and down the stairs like a cat .... she must have been part rabbit
and on nights when I went into our front room to pray .... it would be completely dark and I would be praying on my knees and Juliette would sneak in quietly and lay down right up against me while I prayed
I'm still thinking of how sweet she was .
