This past week I worked on a special order ...... TWO ... BIG .... Pillows !
Each pillow is 18 by 18 inches . It was stressful , challenging, and FUN . I'm so happy with these pillows and it made me think that I want to make more BIG pillows or a large wall hanging { painted and quilted } ...or canvas floor rugs
well ... my mind is racing around with ideas . Has anyone out there ever made a painted floor rug ?
I'm wondering how they hold up .
There's so much I want to do !
have a wonderful weekend

I really love the elephant one :)
ReplyDeleteEllen.
Sandy, ai used to dream of making floorloths. Ai think the keynis to do several coats of seqler or poly on top.
ReplyDeleteLove them both but especially the Elephant one!
ReplyDeleteI once made a very small floorcloth, a million years ago and always wanted to make a BIG one.
Dixie is right, you have to seal them with poly. I have some marine sealer that I used to seal a painted rock for outside, and I bet that would work also.
Very cool! girl, you are on a roll!!!
Thank you Ellen !
ReplyDeleteand Dixie .... what the heck ? ..... ha ha
what I'm wondering too ... is about how to turn it on the back , do I need carpet tape ? { whatever that is }
thanks Cindi ........
