This is painted on a board [ MDF board from Home Depot ], ......I cut it to fit an old frame ....it measures 17 x 24
I used Behr faux glaze . I painted it with acrylics . MANY layers of color . with many layers of glaze . I used a sponge on the background .
It took a long time to use the glaze but it makes it so much more vibrant ...

Very interesting to be sure. The poppies really "pop" against the background. You can tell that this wasn't a slap and dash piece. Sigh...I only wish to have this type of talent.
