Oh, total ATTITUDE there, I love it! Kind of says... I know I'm in a cr*** mood, and I don't care!
Hee hee..
Thanks for the prayers, my friend's name is Cathy Ferguson. She needs lots of prayers.. I hope to God that this is the last we see of her cancer, ugh. I lost both of my parents to that dreaded disease.
You take care, it is great to hear from you too :~).
I just grabbed an old pillow case and started painting . First I put gesso on and then I sand it and I use any paint I have , even house paint . That lime green is for the walls . I sand a lot and use a water based poly. It is smooth to touch . But it doesn't come off the pillow . This is not usefull , just decrative .
Love the new pillow Sandy!!!! I've never tried gesso before painting on fabric... I just us acrylic paint right out of the bottle... then heat set the paint with an iron and water vinegar solution (iron the back of the fabric though).
I love coming to your blog. But it does frustrate me so. You are the type of artist I wish I could be: just creating, producing, with no barriers to get to the end. I eat my heart out a little each time, but it's delicious so I really don't mind too much.
I love your pillow. I love the combination of colors, attitude, and surprise. And mystery.
Sometimes I wish you were tiny and fancied being my personal artist sprite. It would be like that old Bugs Bunny cartoon. Porky Pig would whisper to the little silkworm, "sew!" and socks and knickers would start flying out of his pocket. Except it would be art. Maybe art painted on socks and knickers; you never know with you.

Wonderful pillow. Love her expression. Did you paint right on the fabric or is it a transfer?
