Bacon Hair

Yesterday I spent the day making
books for a shop in Seymour Ct
called Tickled Pink

but last night I had fun ...
painting this lady with the
flying egg

I had painted her once a long
time ago on cardboard
Last night I painted her
again
on canvas .

  1. I love this expression too. Great stuff. You could make all sorts of stories up here as to why she is afraid of a flying egg.

  2. Sandy this is a great painting!!! The hair as bacon is brilliant!!!! To me it makes me think of my husband who's really good at cooking eggs... I could see him chucking and egg at me if I spent to much on folk art....that's what my face would look like too...LOLOLOL. :)

  3. That so very cool. I really love how the eggs are also reflected in her shirt. There's a juxtaposition there, of inner conflict/outer materialization. Great stuff.

I am sad today. I'm very mad at my husband and feeling demoralized. I needed to come look at your art to feel better.
