a closer look at THE girl...


This is a
mixed media
piece. I painted
girl in
acrylics on
masonite
board.
and I cut her out
with my saw.
She is
in an old antique
mirror frame,
so it has depth
and interesting
shadows.
I also used
papers
to give interesting
texture.

    Ooooh! I LOVE her!
    My daughter's grandpa used to say that poem to her all time. And it was quite fitting :)
