I used to have a dog who would come into the studio and growl her disapproval whenever I was working on a dog or cat sculpture. Cats used to react to the sculptures too and I often did 'cat repair' on sculptures that had gotten knocked off shelves by buyer's pet cats! :-)
That's a riot. I think I know why now...Mitzi clearly sees a threat to her reign as cutest in the house. Yep. That's it.
