for Etsy Halloween

This morning I was flipping through old Halloween books and was inspired to paint my version of a 1920's figure
so I painted it ......and then I thought > what should I do with this ? make a pillow ? make greeting cards ?
I didn't know what to do with it
so I took a break ..... went to see if there were any emails , and there was ! An email from a lovely Etsy customer and she asked " Do you still make wood cut outs ? "
Ha ha
I forgot that I made wood cutouts ..... I really did

this was like an answer to prayer .... a message from God
so
I made a wood cut out

I think I've made too many different things .... and then I forget what I did
so
I may be getting back into the wood and my scroll saw , maybe make some Isabella dolls
and more Halloween too !

Do you feel like you are into too many mediums ?
I love them all , so I know I won't stop .... and one inspires the other
I do miss painting large paintings though > I haven't done that in a while !

this Halloween cut out is in my shop

have a good weekend !

Broo haahaa - she's returned to being one of us. This one reminds me of my mother's childhood books. Love that style. And with Halloween as subject matter. Never too many mediums, if you can read my mind.
I always return to my first love-pushing paint around-on any surface. Just getting cozy with a large canvas recently.

Oh My Gosh - yes! I have so many different mediums and things I like to do that I lose myself sometimes. I just keep going in a big circle but I love them all so like you, I won't be giving them up any time soon.
Adore your cutout!!! (maybe I need a jigsaw now...?) ha ha

yes it is so easy to have too many mediums. I have had to whittle mine down to painting, pastels, drawing, sewing, jewelry and polymer clay. What am I to do with all those mixed media and found object items? What about all those glass bead making supplies and those collage papers. Oh, and the mosiac supplies, and... What I no longer use takes up more space than what I do use. Sigh. I guess we are all the same in a lot of ways.
