Giveaway

I went to a book sale and picked up this Maurice Sendak book .... for one dollar
I love this little book !
and also a cat pillow that I made .

I have to tell you that I suffer from 'overwhelm' . especially when I am cleaning . I'm like a crow > anything shiny distracts me . As I am cleaning I get ideas , I want to read this book , read a magazine article .....
I found things done there that I totally forgot about !
I am not done in the basement . I had a deadline of June 1 st. but I am cleaning over 25 years of stuff down there in the cellar . so I guess I was dreaming to try to make a deadline .
I lost my rhythm with creating and blogging . It feels weird .
but I'm glad that I am cleaning . I'm starting to feel better now
I have some stories to tell you ....
but I will wait for that
so .....
Please leave your name
Today is Monday > I'll pick a name at the end of the week . I have to see when Jerry is available .He always likes to pick the winner !
one more thing > about the Maurice Sendak book >
Denise found a clip of the movie !!!!
It is SO SO cute .
a you tube video
about Jenny the dog

You gotta see it
Everyone say thank you to Denise !

We'll be waiting on the stories! That book looks really cute. And fold my name into a special origami shape so Jerry will have a good chance of picking it.

I believe that what you are doing (cleaning) is as much a part of your future art as the paint and paper and cloth and inktense pencils are. You're making room for new art. Keep cleaning. :-)

I have the Nutshell Library of Maurice Sendak's books. Tiny books of goodness! Need to dig it out of 30 years worth of stuff. It must be a bit like an archaeological dig when going through all our stuff of decades, right?

(Psst, Jerry! There's a kiss from me in it for you when you choose MY name!)

Wow, I love that clip Sandy. I wanted to see the rest and see what the basement lion looked like. The cat was scary too. I think Maurice Sendak is brilliant. Pop my name in the giveaway please, and good luck with the rest of that cleaning and when you have finished you can come and give me a hand...lol.

Ohh, I'm so glad you're back. But...I think that reminiscing and cleaning can be just as creatively important as actually creating. I'll bet you come up with some fabulous new pieces after you're done with your clean up.
