Rabbit and girl drawing and rabbit doll

Today I stayed in my studio for ten hours .
NOTHING was going right .... every drawing was so bad ..... I was getting so sad .
but I don't give up . I don't even know if that's good .
so here is an illustration for today . and Below is the rabbit doll . Ronnie [ biddybrain ] had many funny suggestions of what to put in her purse.
Everything from a mini cat pillow to a Cadbury egg. ha ha
but there is just a little heart charm in the purse right now . I think she shoplifts . [ like P.J. 's giraffe [ Imogene ]
I can never accept when I have a day like today .
I can't believe it when I can't draw , when nothing works !
ok , it's only midnight . I'm going back to work
I took a nap before . I'll be up til 4 .
happy ...... Thursday !

that rabbitt looks like a shoplifter for sure. she's probably stealing stop signs or something...

It looks like you persevered and made some wonderful things!

I was behind a beautifully dressed little girl in church one day--big bow in her hair, the little coat that matched the dress, and a fluffy rabbit fur purse. Some time just before the end of the service, she reached into the bag, and I held my breath to see what she had in there. Out came one of the ugliest, slimy-looking lizard toys I had ever seen. And, I have two boys, so I know ugly toys!

You just never can tell what a nice lady will pull out of her handbag!

HAAAA! Thanks Elizabeth! That was hilarious! Great Story.

These are wonderful Sandy. I love the Rabbit dolls legs. She is a little bandy...or maybe she has a bottle of some kind in that purse!
You are soooo good at faces, she is great.

Oh, I take it back. She is way too proper! Sorry, Mrs. Rabbit, don't be mad at me.

Now, I feel bad for what I wrote! Mrs. Rabbit is way to proper for that! Sorry Mrs. Rabbit, don't be mad at me.

Mrs. Rabbit is way to fun!!! She does look like a proper lady but I think underneath she's a wild thing. :)

Theresa

She is WONDERFUL, Sandy.
All ready for Easter.
You know we artists are our worst critics.
We're right on top of the thing and see every detail as we make it.
But the viewer (me) sees only the finished piece. It magically appeared! We didn't experience all the artist angst. Sometimes I put artist angst on the materials list when I post an item on Etsy.
Don't be so hard on yourself. I find you BRILLIANT! If you forget. Come ask me and I'll tell you again.

Sandy, your rabbit doll is quite deliciously quirky. I love her and she certainly doesn't look like a thief to me.

I know what you mean about not being able to draw or create sometimes. I get blocks like that when nothing goes right and then suddenly something comes together magically and you have produced something. Keep your spirits up...your work is really very special.
