Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils ... true love

Both of these illustrations were done with ink and Inktense on fabric. The first one here is Sweet Lorraine . She's in my etsy shop now as a print .
I didn't make her into a pillow .
On Sunday nights there is a radio show out of Fordham University on Long Island .
It's called the Big Broadcast and they play songs from the twenties and thirties .
Rudy Vallee sang Sweet Loraine , and Nat King Cole. I wrote the lyrics on the back of the print and if you want you can read them in my Etsy shop .
The second photo is of the pillow I made today .
This is Bunnie with her bunny [ sold ] ,
I drew this with ink on a denim fabric .
Did I ever tell you I love Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love your drawings, always. Saw your paper cutter, too. Watch those fingers! I've used one just like this. TC, Susan

Love this little girl and her rabbit friend Sandy. She is so cute.

I really like the "unfinished" drawing too but I think your inktense one is the best. The colours are beautiful. I am now going to go and have a look under my bed. I shall probably only find dust and spiders...lol.

Man, It's ALL good!
Those cats are FLYING out of your shop! So why the hell do I keep painting CHICKS!? Good question, huh.

Oh, I'm loving her with that rabbitt. She is soooo sweet, strangely though. Now I've GOT to find out about that ink/pencil/watercolor... what was it? One more supply that I probably cannot live without... my obsession....PJ

Bunnie with her bunny is beautiful. I really like the colors. Soft and cozy. Sweet Lorraine reminds me of my father's mother (she died of cancer before I was born). Her name was Louise and she wore glasses exactly like these. And Lorraine's dress collar even looks similar to the one in my grandmother's portrait. I love that you draw from this part of the twentieth century.

Hi Sandy...your pillows are fantastic. I wanted to buy that one of the Elephant but was too late because someone else snapped it up! There is just something about them...they are SO special. Beautiful work as always.
