# 3 Lady [ unfinished ]

Now it's midnight .... so 12 hours later here is number three lady. [ which I don't know if I like her ]. More work to be done on this.

NOW I look back and I sort of like the other two . I sort of like the second lady with the dead eyes . I will NOT black out #3 lady . I could have had three paintings but I kept painting over them .
I'm like.......
an insane . perfectionist, obsessed ..... NUT
I'm so tired .....
Do you like number three lady ?

Hey Sandy
I definitley like # 3 the best! She is my favorite. You have tenacity, that is for sure! I love the kitty's face, too.

Sandy actually I love your last painting of this lady the best. Her eyes are looking down at her cat with very loving eyes. I LOVE IT!!!! It's a keeper in my opinion. :)

Hugs,

Theresa

Wow...you ARE crazy! hee hee...just kidding. I've never in my life painted for 12 hours in one day!

I actually like the face of lady #2, but think I will have to go with lady #3 too. She has such a wonderful expression in the way she's looking at her cat. Beautiful job!

Crazy? You??? Obviously they have never seen the armpit painting:)
I too like #3 thebest. She has a kinder Grandma sort of face. Speaking of old ladies, my four year old asked my mother in-law what those lines were arond her face and then informed her that she was very old. I'm not sure what she likes so much about being a grandmother, at least to my kids.
Have a great weekend!

Hi Sandy

Thanks for the lovely comments on my blog and your message via Etsy. Great to hear from you and that we have things in common. I love your artwork very much. I am very interested in folk art and primitive art even though mine is probably a bit more traditional. I get lots of inspiration from looking through other people's fav blogs so don't be surprised if I "pinch" a couple of your favourites...LOL You are welcome to do the same with mine. I will add you to my growing list now and will be back regularly to take a peek.

I definitely like number 3 best. Please don't paint over her!!!

Sandy - #3 Lady is softer, so if that is what you are going for then great!

Sometimes I make 3 paintings at the same time so I can let one rest while I work on another. This helps to give my brain a visual break.

Also, sometimes I take a picture of the painting I'm stumped on, let it rest and then go in with my paint program on the computer to fiddle. Or make a photocopy of the painting and then draw on that, make notes, etc.

I love your paintings...even the ones that have an edge to them.

;-)

Dixie, who is unhappy with one of my own paintings...

And by the way, if you're crazy and obsessive then join the club.

#one looks crazy and obsessed and the cat looks angry.
#two looks crazy but not obsessed and the cat looks bored.
#three looks healthy and satisfied and the cat looks amused.

The third lady looks like the first two's kindly younger sister. The 2nd looks like she was painting and repainting the same picture for 12 hours straight and is a little crazed....
